The company is primarily engaged in the manufacture of oven grills. It also offers related accessories and charcoal. It was incorporated in January of 1973. The company has a registered office located in Pineda de Mar in Barcelona, Spain. A Josper charcoal oven is a barbeque manufactured using traditional methods and the highest quality materials, aimed at the extremely demanding and professional hotel and catering sector (hotels, restaurants, bars, etc). The Josper oven is a closed barbeque operated by a system of "adjustable draughts": an air inlet (at the bottom of the oven) and a smoke and combustion gases outlet (at the top). The oven opens with a hinged door at the front. Inside the oven is the burning charcoal, and above this are the grill racks, which slide alongside guides, where the food is placed for grilling.
